Automation / Delivery infrastructure
Global Image Delivery
A global image-delivery layer over Firebase Storage, without moving source files or rebuilding the application.
01Storage→02Rewrite→03Cache→04Image
Context
Media was served directly from origin storage regardless of user location. The goal was to add caching closer to the audience while preserving existing URLs and the source of truth.
How it works
Configured Cloudflare as the delivery layer, prepared URL migration and added client-side rewriting for legacy records. Firebase Storage remains the origin, so the media library did not need to move.
What it enables
Delivery is now a distinct, controllable layer: the first request warms the cache, repeat requests are served through the CDN, and the application continues using its existing storage.
